My iphone 5 was stuck on the apple logo. I tried a few troubleshooting methods but to no avail. I contacted apple and they told me to do an update on the software if I could manage to get it connected to itunes. I did this and got it connected to itunes, ran the update (not recovery mode) and it took about 30 minutes to run the ios update software for the phone. I (and apple) were hoping this would trigger the phone to get out of the loop. When the download completed all of a sudden the message popped up on itunes “phone will begin restore now”. The phone automatically restored to factory settings much to my dismay. this meant my photos from my holiday are not lost. No icloud back up and i had all the files saved up to the day before i went on holiday. Is it possible to recover photos from a restored iphone. I’m reading conflicting reports of yes and no. You can only recover actual deleted photos but not photos from a fully restored phone. Any information would be much appreciated.
512GB SSD from Macbook Pro (Jan 15) liquid damaged. MacBook repaired with but SSD was quoted as “dead, can’t repair or recover data due to short in memory chip which gets hot”. Is there any hope that you could recover any data? Less than half of the information has been recovered and there are no family photos that I can find. I have searched through lots of empty folder and there used to 100’s go photos on there. I have found 4.
I need data recovered from a iPhone. I had around 30 MP4 files recorded with a camcorder on the phone however I updated the driver software of the card and the MP4 files disapeared and were replaced by over 300 CHK files varying in size from KB to over 2GB. I know what CHK files are so I tried simply changing the file extension files of the larger files (assuming those where the video files) to MP4 bit it didnt work I am assuming since there are over 300 files the files are split? I need the original video files recovered.

I have a internal HD 3T that has just stopped responding or showing on the MAC system. No knocks, no surges that I aware of, just stopped showing.
